![]() ![]() Keep an eye on your stamina bar at all times. If you push your Nexomon to their limits, always making use of their strongest abilities, it won’t be long before they’re too out of puff to continue. Much like its rival, Temtem, Nexomon: Extinction features a stamina system. So, if you want to have an easy time capturing Nexomon, you’ll need to buy a good variety of food items and lug around half a banquet in your inventory. Understandably, a ravenous Nexomon is less likely to join you than one you’ve just given a tasty treat to. Each creature has a selection of foodstuffs that it prefers, and using one of these food items dramatically increases your capture chance. While weakening a Nexomon is pretty important, there are other strategies you’ll need to be aware of.įood is by far the most important of these. Soften your target up with some attacks, apply a status effect, and chuck a NexoTrap, right? In fact, it’s a little more complex than that. You might think you know what you’re doing when it comes to capturing your first few wild Nexomon. You’d arguably be better off picking one of the other seven, even if either of these are your fave! Use food when capturing Nexomon It is worth mentioning, however, that although the Nexopedia lists them as ‘ultra-rare’, the normal-type starter Dinja and the electric-type starter Gekoko can be found in the wild in the very first zone. Should you really want the best type coverage right off the bat, the most common elements at the very start of the game are normal, electric, plant and wind, while ghost and psychic Nexomon seem a little rarer. It feels pretty daunting to pick just one companion out of so many at this early stage, especially considering how little information you have to go off.įortunately, at least one Nexomon of each element can be found early on, so you won’t be missing out on much if you simply select the design you find most appealing. Right at the beginning of Nexomon: Extinction, you’re faced with nine Nexomon to choose between, all of different types. I'm at the jungle so I haven't experienced the full game just yet as I've been grinding to level up.I’ve been getting to grips with Nexomon: Extinction over the last few days and have put together this list of tips to help you through your first hours with the game. I have 5 Ultra Rare Starters (F2P no gems) i will let you guys know when I come across any others, if anyone has any other starter locations feel free to add. Petril's on the slow side but definitely a step up when compared to other plant types. I caught Petril (Grass starter) in the hidden jungle where there's a nurse around to keep healing you and a portable shop, Petril has already spawned for me 3 times, I caught him on the 2nd throw & he was rather easy to catch now all I need is the fire starter & he'll round out my full Ultra Rare Team lineup. The water nexomon don't spawn on the opposite side so don't bother just keep grinding the grass leveling your nexo and waiting for bevy to appear. He's located in the first area of the jungle to the left in the grass that's closest to the water. He was definitely the hardest to catch and he packs a serious punch so well worth it & the best water type I've come across knowing what I know about the first 4 starters I'd choose bevy first. I caught Bevy (Water Type Starter) at level 28 it took me exactly 20 throws and a lot of patience. ![]() He was the easiest to catch for me, I got his health in the red then spammed Sleep & caught him on the 3rd throw. Note** he'll pop up pretty much anywhere I've had him spawn in the lava and rock areas again if you're just starting out don't choose him first as he's easy to find*īlizo (Rock Type), this guy was actually the nexo starter I wanted to pick but I went with more speed, I found him just outside the first cave you have to go through (after fighting the first overseer) in the grass. Vulazy was the most common starter I've found throughout the game, for me I pulled him in a nexo box and sadly shortly after he appeared in the grass area where the nurse is multiple times at the beginning of the game, so if you have to choose a starter, there's no point in choosing him, just grind it out where the nurse is at he'll pop up just make sure you have enough catching items. Hey guys I'm gonna start pinpointing starter locations, I picked the Electric type Velokitti to start, he's solid, he's just lacking defense and health for me had I known that going in I would have chosen somebody else. ![]()
